Manfred Zink<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>joins Bofill Mir Abogados as Director of Antitrust and Economic Regulation. Before joining Bofill Mir, Mr. Zink held the position of Head of the Enforcement Division of the Chilean Antitrust Agency (Fiscal\u00eda Nacional Econ\u00f3mica).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most remarkable milestones in his career, developed in both the private and public sectors and which includes nearly a decade at the Chilean Antitrust Agency, was to take over in 2019 as the first head of the Compliance Control Unit, a position he held - later as Head of Division - until before joining Bofill Mir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, Manfred led the investigations that resulted in the first injunctions for Interlocking<\/em>practices, for providing false information in merger transactions and for failure to notify participations in competitors. He was also in charge of a series of actions for non-compliance with measures imposed in resolutions of the antitrust authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manfred has focused his career mainly on economic, antitrust and regulatory matters.
