About
Manfred has focused his career in the field of antitrust and economic regulation, both in its contentious and non-contentious matters.
For almost a decade, he held various roles in the Chilean Antitrust Agency (Fiscalía Nacional Económica), becoming, in his last position, the first Head of the Compliance Control Division. In this position, he supervised compliance with resolutions and rulings issued by the Competition authorities. In addition, he supervised antitrust enforcement in areas such as interlocking, cross-shareholdings between competitors and gun-jumping, among others. He has also been an attorney in the private sector, in antitrust, regulatory and litigation matters.
As part of the above, he has a solid track record in public and private litigation, regulatory and corporate matters.
