Proposed Regulation on Independent Director and Policy for the Election of Directors of Subsidiary Companies
The Financial Market Commission (‘FMC’) has put out for consultation a regulatory proposal that seeks to refine the definition of independent director of open stock companies (‘SAA’) and to improve the mechanisms for the appointment of directors of subsidiaries supervised by the FMC.
