The Financial Market Commission issues General Standard No. 533

On March 12, the Financial Market Commission (the “CMF”) issued General Rule No. 533 (“NCG 533”), aimed at establishing the requirements for the qualification of independent directors and regulating the policy for the election of directors of subsidiary companies.
