Alina Bendersky, who will serve for the 2024-2025 term, is a partner in the Mining and Natural Resources team at the firm. She is also a member of Women in Mining Chile and Women in the Profession, and actively participates in both local and international initiatives related to her field of expertise.
The International Committee is comprised of 18 professionals, with Alina standing out as one of the five women among them. The committee’s primary objective is to promote participation, engagement, and membership in the Foundation across groups in Latin America and Canada. These groups include a wide range of members, from individuals to institutional, corporate, professional, and educational entities.
Regarding her appointment, Alina stated: "It is an honor and a great opportunity to continue contributing to the synergies between Latin America and Canada. Representing Chile in this forum is a privilege, and I look forward to making a significant contribution to the development of new initiatives with a focus on advancing women’s careers."
The FNREL is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the study and development of legal matters related to natural resources and energy.
This appointment follows that of Pablo Mir, also a partner at Bofill Mir Abogados, who was named Trustee of FNREL in August of this year.
