Bofill Mir Abogados strengthens strategic practices with the promotion of four new directors

Santiago, April 28, 2026. Bofill Mir Abogados announced the internal promotion of four lawyers to the position of director, reinforcing its commitment to internal talent development and organic growth. With these appointments, the firm now counts seven directors, strengthening key practices that underpin its long-term projection.

The appointments correspond to Jorge Rodillo in Dispute Resolution; Gonzalo Barceló in Restructuring and Insolvency; Josefina Da-Bove in Tax Law; and Jorge Tisné in Intellectual Property, Data and Technology.

"These appointments reflect our conviction that Bofill Mir's growth is built from within: nurturing our own talent and positioning it across the areas most relevant to the market. We are proud to see how these professionals have consolidated their leadership and are ready to take on an even more decisive role in the firm's development and in the strategic advisory we provide to our clients," said Octavio Bofill, partner at Bofill Mir Abogados.

Regarding the challenges ahead in their respective areas, Jorge Rodillo, Director of Dispute Resolution, stated: "As the country enters a new cycle of investment in public works and strategic projects, I will bring my track record in construction litigation to provide clients with technical, specialized advice that understands industry disputes from the inside."

For his part, Gonzalo Barceló, Director of Restructuring and Insolvency, commented: "I have been involved in some of the most significant restructuring and insolvency processes in recent years. Taking on the role of director reflects that trajectory, but also a clear conviction: in today's market, the ability to address business challenges comprehensively is a fundamental asset. Our practice demands combining technical expertise, timing and strategic judgment, and that understanding is what sets us apart."

From the transactional side, Josefina Da-Bove, Director of Tax Law, stated: "Tax law runs through every practice at the firm: a dispute, a restructuring, an M&A transaction. Our work is to anticipate the tax implications in every scenario and provide precise answers that allow our clients to make decisions with full confidence."

Finally, Jorge Tisné, Director of Intellectual Property, Data and Technology, noted: "Chile is at an inflection point in data protection and cybersecurity. At the same time, the timely management of intangible assets has become a decisive factor for competing in increasingly complex markets. That is why we support our clients with tailored technical solutions, enabling preventive and strategic compliance in the face of new regulatory challenges."

With these promotions, Bofill Mir reaffirms its professional development model based on internal growth, recognizing the contribution of those who have been a fundamental part of the firm's journey. The new appointments will be effective as of May 1st.
